In 2024 February, I alsmot lost Sparky to severe heart failure. At that time I just started pottery. There is this strong desire to create lifelike keepsake that I can interact with daily so remember him by if one day he does leave this physical world. I have several early pottery work featuring him on tea pot, standalone figurine, eventually this mug came to life and I absolutely adore it and know that this is one style that I will be making again and again for myself and for others.
