I always enjoy making silly poses of cats in clay. An online friend reached out and asking if I can make a butter dish featuring her friend’s cat. As soon as she showed me the photo, I knew it was meant to be where I get to spend time making the most adorable and silly pose for this cat named Princess. It was a rushed order and we also decided the glaze color based on a photo of her sitting on this deep green couch, which is super similar to one of the glazes I have on hand - amaco rainforest. When this cutie came out of kiln, I just want to pinch myself, how can this turn out soooooo cute! the tail position would not have been better, it is flat sticking to the butter tray and makes it less prone to cracking. What a good project!
